Hello Kyriakos!
◉ Wilder the Trickster has a game on the 20th! This is a trauma game!
◉ No drops or placements this week!
We are, however, welcoming Waldemar the Dragon as an Echo!
◉ We’ve seen some OOC confusion on what to call the new team! Their official name is Cats, so when referring to the team from an OOC standpoint or as a game-running Echo, please use that.
◉ We have some changes to the game claim system! From now on, games can be claimed twice a week. One game during the weekdays (defined as Monday through Thursday in the EST time zone), and one during the weekend (Friday through Sunday, again in EST). Furthermore, games now may only be claimed up to two months in advance.
However, these new rules are only going into effect now, so games claimed prior to these announcements may stay regardless.
◉ When announcing games, please specify your game start time in EST, and announce the time of mingle start, not just the game start! Unless your game doesn’t have a mingle, in which case carry on.
◉ We’re working on updating our sidebar and all of our information to make it easier to follow! If you have any suggestions, drop us a line and we’ll incorporate what we can.
◉ Also related to games, we want to clarify that minigames DO NOT have to follow the same gameclaim rules as normal games. If there’s a minigame scheduled, don’t be afraid to claim a normal game not very long before or after it. This is because memory games are important and we don’t want people to lose out on memory regain chances.
◉ Dorms and uniforms! A lot of them never got finalized, and a few teams have changed theirs since the game started, so we’re using a new system for them. Now, if you change your uniform or dorm, or you’re not on the list, please leave a comment to those posts with your team and a description exactly as you would like them to appear on that page, including image links or what have you, and we will add it in!
◉ Cats, we have your quest turn-in post to get memories from, with an example already accomplished to demonstrate how it’s done! Once you’ve given out a quest and had it completed, drop the link there and we’ll get you memories. Ping one of the mods if we haven’t gotten back to you after 24 hours.
◉ If you have not replied to the acceptance email with your information or done the setup detailed in the acceptance email, please do so! We need that information so that the tables on the mod journal can be kept up to date.
◉ We’re considering holding weekly serious polls in the future! We don’t have any topics for now, but if there’s something you’d like to see, go ahead and drop serious poll suggestions in this post! We can start this up as soon as possible. For people that don’t know what a serious poll is, it’s like a mini questions meme. A question will be posted to the community and you can answer it with what your character thinks/feels about the topic.
We’re also considering including a weekly round up style post, to where people can post what their characters have been up to in the past week. Are these things that you guys would be interested in doing? If so, just leave topics for the serious polls in the comments of this post (or email them to us) and we can get on it!

What are the rules for mini-games? I think I missed them.

There were some concerns that minigames for items were taking up memory game slots/people were scheduling them like they had to follow the memory game scheduling rules, so we wanted to clarify that minigames don't really have to follow the scheduling rules.

That said I can totes offer to post at least round ups on Sundays or something myself barring I don't stupidly forget since I was the initial harasser. XD

I just get super excited for weekly reports so I could always set an alert for Sundays before or after work. 'w'
