It’s time for our MONTHLY ACTIVITY CHECK, Kyriakos!

In order to pass AC you will need:

◉ 50 COMMENTS OVERALL from April 1st to April 31st.
◉ At least two threads! One should be with your team, and one should be off-team.
◉ If those two threads don’t fulfill activity, keep linking threads until you have enough comments to fulfill the activity check.
◉ Threads in the main community, soulping, or your journal (if related to a game and ONLY a game) will count towards activity!
◉ If there is anything preventing you from making activity or if anything unexpected had popped up during this past month, please let us know. We don’t need to know the details, but we are willing to work with you to try to keep activity as stress free as possible.
◉ If your character is new, they will automatically pass! However, please leave a comment to this entry anyway. It helps us keep things organized!

AS FOR THE POLL, personally it's not a huge deal for me as a Cat and it's very easy to meet the AC of having both off-team and team threads, but for me any sort of 'and your thread must fulfill THIS requirement' tends to add a bit of pressure, especially if I feel like I may be struggling to meet that requirement if there's an IC reason to avoid it. (To clarify tho, that hasn't happened in this game for me yet but having threads for the sake of fulfilling a requirement is always more stressful for me than just having threads and letting them happen naturally.)

i think keeping our AC to these requirements would be good, b/c activity check is a way of making more room for newer characters and i think a lot of the reason why the queue built up is because we had characters coming in, but not an equal number of characters going out; the previous activity reqs and these activity reqs aren't really so different that there's even a difference anyway to those who are active, though the difference is more apparent for those who aren't - for example i was pretty active with daisuke so getting both on and off team threads wasn't difficult at all for me, but i have admittedly dropped the ball on rui this month, so there was a moment of panic |D but that's my bad and i tend to not realize that until i'm filling out activity b/c i have a wonky sense of time.

there's little reason to change it for those who are already active, and it's a little harder on those who have probably slacked that month, like me. (tho disclaimer of course there are always situations w/ extenuating circumstances, or sth's going on in offline life, etc, that's less about meeting activity and more about talking to mods about those circumstances imo)

I kind of like the AC policy to at least try to tag out of team more! It not only promotes cross team things but AC itself is pretty chill as it is IMO, so having that as an aside doesn't seem strict or anything at all, especially since games sometimes require cross team interactions on their own.

I like the off-team requirement since it stops people from just skating by by appearing once a month in a team post, but at the same time I could see it being stressful for people who don't play social characters -- or if A TRAUMA THING HAPPENS and they withdraw for awhile. Maybe make it so the requirement is either off-team or game-related threads? That way it'd still be clear that you need to be active and showing interest, but don't have to worry about forcing your character out when they otherwise wouldn't.
