- The upcoming game on May 31st - June 1st, starting at 7pm EST, is based off the Loveless series. Don’t recognize it? Don’t worry! Everything is going to be explained, but before we start: It’s pairing prep time!

- For this game, all characters will be paired, and characters can pair with ANY other character on any team. That’s right, any team! An Epona could be with a Takshaka, while another Takshaka could be with a Dawon, and two Dawons could pair up. It’s not dictated along team lines. But you won't be able to fight your own team(s).

- These partnerships will not be ICly chosen, they’ll be automatically done by Yaksinis at the start of the game. Go with your OOC preferences to decide the partners!

- You need to be partnered to do this game. These pairs are permanent for the entire game, and you can’t trade pairs, with one exception:

- Cats won’t be stuck with one pair. They will be “Zeros”, without a pair of their own but capable of replacing any member of a pair. If one half of a pair is missing, a cat can jump in to make sure you can still do the activity! Cats can and should swap pairs the entire game when people need help.

- One member of the pair will be a “Sacrifice” and the other will be a “Fighter.”

Sacrifice: The sacrifice is in charge of the pair. They give the orders, and they’re the one that get hit by the spells in the wordplay battles.

Fighter: The fighter has a strong compulsion to follow the orders of the sacrifice. In the wordplay battles, they’re the ones that do the talking.

- You get to design a name for your pair based in their personality, attributes or hilarity. Example names: Fearless, loveless, bloodless. You can also go comedic: saneless, talentless, etc.

- Make sure your partnership is at least vaguely functional, please! With the “Fighter compelled to obey the Sacrifice” rule in these pairs, it could get nasty fast if you pair two enemies, and while Yaksinis will be interfering automatically with any attempts at abuse it’d suck to have to sit the game out because you’re too busy trying to walk each other off cliffs. Comedic bullying only.

- You can use this post to find a partner, if you want! There won’t be sign-ups, so you don’t need to formally register when you’ve organized. Get to it!

i've yet to determine whether mira will have his ears or not but if he does he'll be extremely embarrassed and demand a hand and curse the yaksinis to death how dare you advertise shit man, how dare you.

MIRA IS AVAILABLE THOUGH. he's canonly pretty much the fighter to flame's sacrifice but he's also not. too skilled with his mouth when he's fighting so i don't mind either way. :v

I'd prefer it if not! Cats will be given memories based on their assistance to the teams, plus in the battles cats will be the only ones capable of soloing (so they can be fought against if we're short matches). It's fine to team up for a bit, but they're more helpers than players in this game.

Cepheus...has his ears. He could also work in either role; he has autonomic regeneration so can cope quite well when taking a lot of physical damage, but he could also fit fighter because he's pretty good at following orders.

Also!! He's pretty new so it would be a good chance for him to potentially gain some cr, given that he's inclined to keep to himself under normal circumstances ;;

Castling will insist on being the Sacrifice but since he's basically incapable of giving Rook orders, both by conditioning and ... because that's just how he is, he'll end up being the Fighter, and everything will suck and he'll hate himself if Dio gets hurt.

Oh, and of course there will be ears.

I'm going to hedge my bets and saaaaaay Rin has ears because he's spent the last four years of his life pushing people away.

Anyway, he can take either role, but a Fighter would have to earn his trust before he's' actually effective. That said, he's a romantic so he has a decent word bank to work with.

Looking for partners for both of my very difficult characters... If I don't end up finding one, I will probably sit them out cause they're just not good at working with others on random, sorry.

Schooler from Epona will be better suited as a SACRIFICE, though she can fall under a FIGHTER if need be. She's honestly a lot better at giving orders than taking them and would only take them from people she respects to make a good decision (which is like... two whole people in Kyriakos, good job Rin). She won't have any ears, so have fun with that... even though pretty sure like everyone knows \('_')\

Badass from Ratatoskr will undeniably be a FIGHTER because if she is a sacrifice absolutely nothing would get done whatsoever. Except lol wordplay battles good luck with that. She can probably be a SACRIFICE as well, but it would have to also be someone she trusts can fight SOOOoooooooo yeah. She'll come with cute ears though and will rip off the ears of anyone else who points it out.

He can do either role! Swoop canonically acts as someone's fighter and he's good at taking orders, but he's pretty mediocre at wordplay soooo.
