DISCUSSION
Hey guys! Aside from our usual announcements - this is linked there - we want to have a discussion post. The game has been up and running for awhile, and while we're still working out a few kinks, we want your opinions on what works and what doesn't.
What works for you? What doesn't work for you? Do you have any suggestions for improving the things that don't work for you?
Knowing the answers to these questions could help us a lot as we move forward as a game, and we would love to know what you think.

- I think we need some way to have teams interact more. Partner games might help there orrrr something that gets teams working together? Like the monster thing? Something that puts them on a united front
- Mayyybe more things people can do to be productive?? look how articulate i am.

- I actually intended to run a take-home and/or mingle game in the near future on a weekend. Unfortunately the games running on a weekday thing is a product of when gamerunners are able to do things, and the people that do most of the gamerunning tend to mostly only be able to do things on the weekdays. :( We'd like to change this, but there's only so much that we can do ourselves when it comes to free time and being able to sit down and run a game.
- Partner games and getting teams to work together is something that I want to do! The games I have planned are geared towards making people work together to accomplish a goal, even if that goal is just filling out a bingo square or something. You still have to do something in that case!! But I've already been trying to get more socializing happening myself with my games, like with the Trick-or-Treat one that I ran around Halloween.
- Like I told Sipp, we want to have more events that get people working together for the GREATER GOOD and being united and helping each other.
- Productivity sort of stuff is on the way soon, hopefully!! With Aiko to help me while Hino and Re work crazy hours things should be getting off of the backburner soon. We never intended for that to happen, and we're sorry that it did. :(

- is it possible to get some participation then? so it's not on the game runners alone. LIKE I'D BE HAPPY TO HELP OUT IF I KNEW HOW but I'm crap at running games. However, if there are instructions or something we could follow out, it could make things easier? I do know it depends on the game runners and it's tough.

Also, possibly! We can definitely get to work on putting together GAME GUIDES, and we have other ideas that might make it possible to regain memories in other ways too. :|a

tl;dr!!
-The Epona adventure and gryphons attax were cool! It'd be fun to have stuff like that and finding out more about what's going on, exploradora, etc
-Maybe more of a hook/more stuff to do in the mingles? Some of the mingles are tough to do things with, like we had multiple zubat attack posts, rabbits running away, water flooding? It gets kind of hard to find things to thread about aside from an initial reaction
-Seconding stuff in the comment above me!! It'd be nice to have teams interact, partner games/whathaveyou. What about events where like, something happens to one member of each team (they get sick or something) and the other characters have to cooperate with people from other teams to find a cure? Meanwhile the sick members of each team are together trying to occupy themselves or something. Or monster stuff!
-What about questing to help the NPCs and/or find out more things/unlock new areas/things or something? More reasons for characters to go out and do things would be nice
-Maybe some more serious games/things! The trauma game shook things up (in a good way) but there hasn't been any follow up. Silly and light-hearted is good, but I think there needs to be more of a balance with Serious Business to get things rolling/relationship forming. I think the trauma game was what spurred the strongest bonding/development
-This may just be me but I think it'd be nice to see the patrons and mods around more ICly. Questing for patrons and patron-team interaction I think helps paint a picture of day to day activities, and I had fun doing my dumb burgerquests with other patrons and whatnot. IC consequences for losing/winning games with patrons would also be fun to see play out ICly, and that could be something that prompts more Things Being Done Outside. (Ie: Team loses, patron is weak or mad, they have to do things outside to fix it)
As for mods, in my experience, with games that are starting out or having bumps, mod character activity makes a big difference. Mods being enthusiastic and active usually gets other players to feel the same, and for events they can function as examples for players who aren't sure what to do. Like I said, this could just be me, but I think if the mod characters were more of a presence it might help with motivation in general
Re: tl;dr!!
- But thank you so much for your feedback first off, we really appreciate it a lot and there are a lot of good ideas in your comment! There are some things that we've noticed that we're really going to get a good grip on - like the Epona adventure and gryphon attack - and we'll try to keep those sorts of things up every once in awhile. This applies to stuff happening!! And we're going to find ways to make the environment more engaging and getting people out and doing things so that there are always things for people to react to and do.
- I'm planning at least a couple of games that I can hopefully do in the near future that involve getting out there and interacting with the other teams, and they'll definitely last at least 24 hours to try to get as much interaction as possible out. Those kinds of games are the ones I'm best at running and I want to keep running with that because it makes people interact. '^' A sit-down partner game is one I'll need help with because I'm not the most reliable gamerunner on my own because I'm constantly pulled away from the computer.
We'll try to get the game thing sorted out, though! We have a lack of gamerunners that make a variety of games a little difficult but attempts will be made.
- MORE EVENTS, I think I might have already covered this above? But we'll do our best to make more things happen like that, even if it's just SICK MEMBERS ARE SICK go find ways to make your sick members better guys. o9"!! We have ideas planned or ideas that are in the process of being planned or ideas we just started on planning. We'll do our best!
- RE: questing to help the NPCs and unlocking new areas, we do have things planned for new areas to be unlocked! Unfortunately this had to be backburnered a bit when I was the only mod that could consistently do mod things (since Hino and Re had CRAZY WORK) but with Aiko to help this is getting off of the backburner! For the NPCs, though, I think things could be worked out there easily.
- MORE QUESTING would be great, I would actually like to see this happen more and I actually intended to do something like this with Tavros? We can't really control how often the patrons are out ourselves, but we're going to send out an email to ask patrons to be a little more active with their teams because they're patrons! If possible, though, you might want to talk to the patron of your team before we're able to do this/whenever you need them because patrons are just like another team member in a way. Their prescence is necessary for the team, too.
I can definitely get Princess out more, though, and I actually intended to do just that in the near future.
- RE: more activity from the mods, this is actually why I swapped to a character I was much more comfortable with. I wasn't getting out as much as I wanted to because Melody was super hard for me as much as I loved her, so to fix that problem I apped someone that I can get out a lot with very few problems.
... I think I covered everything even if I got a little out of order here and there. But! Thank you for everything that you said, and we hope we can get everything going in a direction that gets Kyriakos kicking a little more.
Re: tl;dr!!
I don't mind helping out with games also if math/upkeep/things but I'd probably need someone to hold my hand if I attempted one on my own /o\
Re: tl;dr!!
I'm more than willing to hold hands and guide with games, though.

But aside from events as general happening stuff, I know part of still new game/finding footing thing can also apply to games. Characters regaining memories, especially in terms of interacting with one another be it on a team or not, is also something to play with! So if not many people are stepping up to run games, that means less memories and less interacting on that end. Of course until we get a steady stream of gamerunning, there's only so much to be done. Maybe if not games, in the meantime there can be an occasional small thing to get a memory back until games starts to step up a little more?
no subject
The ideas on how to do it are being floated around because we don't want to leave people without memories for long because we realize that in a memory loss game where the goal to regain them, it can get ... kind of hard when those memories aren't coming in at all. :|a So we don't want to get people stuck in a limbo where they get NO MEMORIES EVER AT ALL because no games are happening due to a lack of people who can run games overall.
We'll get to work on this ASAP because this is definitely one of the things that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. \o

(Sorry I am a total newb to these kind of games weh weh)

But I would love something like that in the meantime! Mostly because I've missed some games on top of stuff so the last thing I've gotten ICly was about a month ago, and a skill instead of a memory. I have no idea what you're kicking around, but maybe you can tie some sort of quest things in with the plot for the characters to help with in exchange for memories? I'm not sure how much less stress that could be from something like a game, but. :|a
(I wish i could run games but I've never dipped my toes into any sort of gamerunning pool yet, haha ... and my work sched has me working evenings which is generally prime time for a lot of games)

That could actually be way less stressful, though—we're still in the process of planning the new setting, but it's entirely possible we could make something work there?

"Getting memories in other ways than games sounds great, like what about missions or challenges you could do or something? You could flag down an Echo for a mission, preferably your own (some rule about that? idk) but you can only do so once a week? So that Echos won't get swamped with mission/challenge requests. OR SOMETHING. And to keep it on a low, so people won't do it too much, it'd be restricted to once a week and twice in a month...?"
I realize there would have to be some pool of suggestions for possible quests or challenges, but it could also be a thing for the playerbase to contribute to, perhaps? A post for gathering suggestions to the quest pool or something.
I'm merely speculating, but at least this could inspire some idea or something. ♥

We'd love more Echo activity in general, though, so we can also put up a note next announcements about Echo borrowing to keep things going with games.
