This is a post to discuss an element we would like to use later in the Nyssa plot. We've had a couple posts in the past to this effect, getting players' permissions for things that can be done to them, their dorms, etc., but those were all mostly related to physical/mental trauma (and really bad pranks). This is of a somewhat different nature, because today we'd like to get players opinions' on their characters being mind controlled. Without getting too specific, we'd like to know your thoughts on:
- If you'd be okay with your characters being controlled to do Nyssa's bidding and advance her goals.
- What you'd be okay with your character being made to do under Nyssa's control. This can range from very major actions (fighting other characters in Kyriakos, going against them in certain games, during certain events, etc.) to very minor actions (gardening and making tea).
- How you'd prefer your character to be controlled, being brainwashed to be loyal to Nyssa (similar to instances like the GM game or other instances of characters being possessed by shadows) or being puppeted without really being aware of it (somewhat similar to Queen's status at the start of Nyssa's takeover until she was freed).
- How long you'd be okay with it. What do you think your upper limit would be to have your character be under Nyssa's thrall, both OOCly and ICly.
- Anything else you think is relevant.
Bear in mind, this is not an official sign-up post or permissions post and we're not asking anybody to commit to anything right now. This is more just a poll to get people's thoughts and preferences, so we can try and tailor the mechanics we have in mind to those preferences.
